This Amish Country Vacation Home’s warmth and coziness abounds. As you enter the side door, you are embraced by the large open eating area with two country tables comfortably arranged on a gray, slate floor laden with elegant rugs to warm your feet. This delightful sunroom makes every meal splendid with its glass panel windows that draws in the sun and overlooks its signature English garden. Adjacent is the large cherry kitchen with six inch hardwood plank floors that has so much room there’s never too many hands in the kitchen.

There are two rooms for gathering and sharing fun. Sit comfortably in the main floor living room with its rich hues of color and sweet folk country charm; or, use the family room located downstairs in the finished basement area with its soft, comfy sectional that is large enough for all to gather and reminisce about the day’s activities, play games, or watch television after a long day.

The color and warmth continue in the main floor bedrooms. These two rooms with wooden, wrought iron queen-sized beds are rich in tone and color. Their simple décor makes it simply delightful to close your eyes at the end of an adventure filled day. The downstairs finished basement area is full country comfort with two full-sized bunk beds and a comfy sectional sofa with pullout sofa bed, a perfect respite for the young folk to hang out and make memories.

Just Outside

Be sure to take in the beautiful, private backyard with its large trees that catch snowflakes in the winter and provide wanted shade in the spring and summer. For those who fancy more active days, check out the history and stores in our town and the area or spend a day relaxing at The Spa.

For quiet evenings be sure to enjoy the sitting area outside under the pergola as you breathe in the fragrant flowers of the English garden. Enjoy the fresh country air, take in the starry nights, and listen to the quiet clip-clop of the horse as the Amish neighbors go by in their buggies.
